Sweet potato parathas with tomato onion chutney

I have never tried anything with sweet potatoes. These are widely available and eaten during the shivrathri in the month of feb or march. I was googling for a recipe with sweet potato and was surprised to find its culinary use all over the world. Sweet potato pie, cakes ....and indian food like gulab jamuns, koftas, kababs etc and many more..
Anyway, I decided to make simple stuffed paratha with them. It definitely tasted different. It had a sweet taste and by adding the regular spices, made it a little spicy too.
And for the side dish I usually prefer curd for any parathas. But this tomato onion chutney is a good combination too.

Ingredients-
for stuffing
Sweet potatoes- 3-4
Turmeric powder-1tsp
garam masala-1tsp
chilly powder-1tsp
salt
for dough
Wheat flour- 5 t06tbsp
Oil-1tbsp
Salt- a pinch
Method-

For Stuffing preperation

Boil the sweet potatoes until they turn a little soft and grate them. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala and salt. Mix them well.

For dough

Add the salt in the wheat flour. knead the flour into dough adding water and oil.Make balls of the dough.
Roll the flour into a circle with a rolling pin. Make a ball of the stuffing and keep in the centre of the circle. Seal it properly and again roll them in a circle, taking care of the stuffing not coming out. Heat them on the Tava putting little ghee on them.

Tomato onion chutney-

Ingredients-
Onion- 1 chopped
Tomat0-2chopped
green chilly-1
garlic-2 cloves
ginger-finely chopped
red chilly powder- 1tsp
turmeric powder-1tsp
salt
Mustard-1tsp
jeera- 1tsp
Method-
Heat little oil in a pan. Add mustard and cumin seeds/jeera,green chillies ,garlic and ginger. Then add onion and saute till they turn slightly brown. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, and salt. Stir in the tomatoes. Mix well. Grind the mixture.
